Caroline Baxter Tresise is a medical anthropologist specializing in youth and community engagement with a background in media, film and communications. As a specialized consultant to UNESCO, Caroline has six years’ experience in International Development in the Southeast Asian and Caribbean regions and four additional years working in film and the private sector. Passionate about preventative healthcare and reducing non-communicable diseases, Caroline is a long-term advocate for sport for development, which extends to developing frameworks for intervention in public policy. She is the founder of the UNESCO Youth and Sport Task Force and author of Youth Development through Martial Arts: Selected Good Practices, published by UNESCO (2019).
